The Hofman vase

A man of many talents, Vlastislav Hofman designed everything from bridges and buildings, to interiors, furniture and decorative objects. He also painted, and wrote on art and design. He won greatest acclaim during his lifetime, however, for his stage designs. Between 1911 and 1920, Hofman developed ground-breaking Cubist ceramics and metal and glass objects for the Artěl co-operative.
