Jindrich Halabala – desk H 180, mid-1930s

Jindrich Halabala – one of the most important Czech designers of furniture – worked between 1930 and 1946 as head designer for the renowned UP furniture company in Brno. This elegant desk designed in the mid 1930s demonstrates the farthest journey Halabala and his colleagues travelled towards the Art Deco style as we know it in France or England. Being much more than just a showpiece due to its ideal size and practicality it has recently become one of the most sought after UP models. Its recent scarcity prompted us to put it back into production as part of our collection of Jindrich Halabala licenced designs.

Our licenced re-issue is intended for those who love its styling and do not want to wait for an original one. As each desk is built to order customers can choose from a wide range of veneers and finishes.

Dimensions: 150 x 70 x 76 cm

Prices start from 1990 eur depending on the choice of veneer and finish.
