Marcel Kammerer – salon suite, Austria, around 1908

A student and collaborator of Otto Wagner – Marcel Kammerer – designed this 7 piece suite for the legendary bent wood manufacturer Thonet. It is rarely found comprising so many pieces as Thonet sold the individual parts separately as well as in sets. It is made of bent beech stained red to resemble cherry wood and covered in top quality English leather. Marked with Thonet paper stickers and burnt in stamps.
