Wine Society

The company Wine Society approached Modernist with a wish to fine-tune parts of the new premises by using stylish furniture from the 30s. The main requirement was to equip the reception – entrance area to the wine shop and then design the VIP lounge sitting layout.

Almost all of the used furniture is the work of Jindřich Halabala. The table H-180 finished in a combination of high gloss black and white lacquer constitutes the basis of the reception. The pipe arm chairs upholstered by the Kirkby London Underground collection are comfortable and distinctive both at the working and coffee table.

The VIP Lounge is composed of the Tulešice chairs and coffee table H-168. All in the Wine Society company colours. Table lamps Tubus and a unique replica of a floor lamp with an opal glass sliding shade attached to a weight were used as accessories. The lamps are also the product of the Modernista company.
