An icon of Czech furniture making of the First Republic - the H-269 armchair - is one of the most famous designs by Jindřich Halabala, mass-produced in the 1950s. Thanks to its elegant shape and the comfort it provided, the chair has rightly found countless owners. The modernist reintroduced the chair into licensed small-scale production. The finish of the basic version of the beech frame is done with a colourless semi-matt varnish. The wood can be left in its natural colour or stained under the varnish. The method of upholstery is custom-made.

Lakování rámu je možno jakoukoli barvou ze škály RAL a to jak v matné, tak lesklé /příplatek 10.000,-Kč/ povrchové úpravě. Rám je možné zhotovit také v dubové dýze. Příplatek 4.000,-Kč Příplatek za klasické čalounění z vyvázaných tlačných pružin činí 7.000,-Kč. Křeslo je možné potáhnout do jakékoli látky, koženky či kůže, buď z naší nabídky nebo vybrané a dodané zákazníkem.

Legendary and timeless. That's Halabala, and that's his furniture. The spider, Halabala's table from the 1950s, decorating many a contemporary interior, is certainly an icon of its time. As the main designer, Halabala fundamentally influenced the activities and work of United UP factories, a company that was one of the most progressive and largest furniture factories in the then Czechoslovakia.
