Adolf Loos used this very unusual looking chaise longue in at least three interiors he designed in the late 1930s and early 1940s. The most famous of these is the Müller Villa in Prague, where he placed two pieces in the living room. Loos is not the author of this design - rather, it is a modification of a chaise longue that had been manufactured by the English firm Hamptons since the late 19th century. The chaise longue can be made from any upholstery material. The staining of the beech base is optional.
